RITTER · CLINICAL TABLES SINCE 1903

Ritter exam tables built for daily use.

Mechanical and power-adjustable exam tables for primary care, OB-GYN, and procedure rooms. The 204, 222, 223, and 230 series are the workhorses of physician offices — and many are ADA-compliant. Stocked alongside Midmark since Ritter is now part of the Midmark family.

RITTER + MIDMARK

Same equipment, same authorized channel.

Ritter has been making clinical seating and exam tables since 1903 — over a century before Midmark acquired the brand. Today Ritter tables ship through the Midmark authorized distribution channel, which means same warranty, same service network, same factory parts pipeline.

If you've been buying Ritter for decades, the brand you trust is the brand we ship.

WHAT'S IN THE LINEUP

Mechanical and power-adjustable, ADA and standard.

The Ritter 204 remains the workhorse mechanical exam table — pneumatic back, manual seat, stirrup-ready. The 222 Barrier-Free is the most-requested ADA-compliant Ritter — power-adjustable with a 17-inch low position for wheelchair transfer. The 230 / 230AC series adds full power articulation, integrated stirrups, and surgical positioning. The 223 handles OB-GYN flows with built-in pelvic positioning.

Are Ritter tables ADA-compliant?

The Ritter 222 Barrier-Free is the flagship ADA-compliant model — power-adjustable height down to 17 inches for safe wheelchair transfer, 500+ lb capacity, transfer-support side rails. The standard 204, 230, and 230AC are not ADA-rated; they're built for ambulatory patient flows.

If accessibility is a procurement requirement, the 222 is the right line. Our ADA-compliant equipment overview walks through how that fits in a typical exam room.

Mechanical or power exam table — what's the difference?

A mechanical table (204 series) uses manual levers and a pneumatic back. Patient positioning is hands-on for the provider — common in low-volume rooms, urgent care, school health clinics. A power table (230 series) uses electric or hydraulic actuators for height, back, and seat — easier on the provider's back over a long shift, often required in OB-GYN and procedure rooms.

Do you stock refurbished Ritter tables?

Yes. Certified refurbished 204 and 222 tables come through trade-ins regularly. We strip them, reupholster, replace gas struts and pneumatic cylinders, and load-test before listing. 90-day warranty. See current refurbished inventory.
