7550 - Detecto -Wall Mount Fold -Up Wheelchair Scale

DETECTO's model 7550 wall-mount wheelchair scale features a unique fold-up design that stores the scale away when not in use, saving space when the scale is not in use. You can install it directly in a high-traffic area or work zone, and it can be rolled up when you have finished the weighing process without taking up valuable floor space. As a result, patient dignity is maintained by weighing in open common areas rather than in backrooms or closets. Taking up little space, the wall-mount scale can easily be stowed out of the way and blends into any environment for a more efficient workflow. Even though the 7550 can accommodate most wheelchairs, it still requires very little floor space when folded up.

Standard wireless connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi are integrated into EMR/EHR systems for wireless connectivity. The stylish gray color of the 7550 scale allows it to integrate seamlessly into any healthcare environment. The 7550 features a 1,000 lb x 0.2 lb / 450 kg x 0.1 kg capacity, touch-screen LCD, 36 in W x 33 in D / 91 cm W x 84 cm D weighing platform, and sturdy steel construction for long-lasting durability over a lifetime of use.

The 7550 from DETECTO contains an iPhone-like touchscreen LCD that you can use to enter up to 8-digit patient IDs, as well as patient weight information, to send it to your EMR system via WiFi or Bluetooth 5.0. It holds a 3.2-inch (diagonal) full-color TFT display with 320 x 240 resolution for almost no lag between text explanations of various functions and large, visible weight figures. It is equipped with an integrated full-color touchscreen LCD that provides wheelchair tare weight mode that allows the user to remove wheelchair weights and factor patient weights (push button and keypad tare). The scale is powered by either 6 C batteries (not included) or by an AC adapter (included on some models). Both carpet and hard floors are suitable for use with this scale.

When installed in a medical facility hallway, clinical office, long-term care center, or nursing home, 7550's thin 7-inch / 18-cm profile takes up the smallest amount of space. As soon as you are ready to weigh, just lower the platform and the gas spring lifting mechanism will gently lower it into place for you. A 1.5-inch/38-mm high platform on the 7550 is very low to the ground, allowing for easy patient access. With this, the process is very simple and minimal effort is required to move a patient from one side of the platform to the other.
