Bovie DERM 102 - High Frequency Desiccator Cautery Unit - IN STOCK
The Derm 102 High Frequency Desiccator offers a ten watt monopolar power source, with the power capable of being adjusted in one tenth watt increments, when desiccating or fulgurating tissue. You can adjust the power by either using the 3-button power control on the A901 handpiece or using the rotary dial on the unit. There is a large, bright LED display on this unit for excellent visibility across the procedure room. When using the Derm 102, foot control activation can be accomplished by plugging in the A803 Bovie footswitch (sold separately) and activating the device. It is not necessary to use a separate handpiece for this operation. These desiccators, which dispense high frequency energy of 10 watts, are designed to allow practitioners the ability to perform minor skin procedures in-office, such as the removal of skin tags, benign lesions, and premalignant lesions. Bovie units provide practitioners with the ability to provide better patient care in the office, at a reasonable price, saving the patient time and money, while increasing the revenue of the practice as well.
The Derma 102 High Frequency desiccator offers 10 watts of bipolar power, adjustable in 1/10th watt increments, so it is a perfect device for practitioners who would like to use electrosurgery along with high frequency desiccation. You will need the A827V bipolar cable, a bipolar forceps, and footswitch activation in order to use this feature.
The Derm 102 comes in a package ready for use. There are a total of 18 disposable dermal tips included with the unit. When the practitioner uses all 18 electrodes, he or she will have already paid twice for the unit and will be able to generate income for their practice by the time they have used all 18 electrodes.
