Hillrom (Formerly Welch Allyn) has announced the
launch of its CP150 Electrocardiograph (ECG). This interpretive ECG machine features a 7" touch-screen monitor and keyboard. Its purpose is to improve continuity by taking quick ECG readings at the touch of a button. Make your practice run more efficiently with the CP150 - now with optional wireless capability.
With the CP150 ECG, you can easily connect, save, and manage patient information with ease using your HIS. With a USB or Ethernet connection, you can transfer patient data to the Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation, which gives you access to patient information.
CP150 ECG has the following benefits:
-
ECG readings are established correctly because of improved filters to ensure excellent trace quality
- ECG preview of three (3) leads
-
A lithium-ion battery operation allows you to easily transport your device to the patient - the Welch Allyn ECG can reliably operate for over eight hours on a single charge.
- Up to 100 test results can be stored on the device or directly transferred to a USB memory stick. Using the Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation you can store more data or upload it directly to the clinic's database management system.
Pacemaker identification
A pacemaker can be used with the software if that is intended. You acknowledge the fact that the patient has a pacemaker, so the ECG report does not provide an interpretation of the ECG, but instead states that it was found that the patient has a pacemaker.
The optional features include the following:
-
With the optional MEANS ECG interpretation program, developed by the University of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, a second opinion is available -The optional MEANS interpretation algorithm provides an automated analysis of the ECG results. Patients 18 years of age and older should be used the MEANS algorithm. Pediatric patients ranging in age from 1 day up to 17 years are covered by the PEDMEANS algorithm.
- It is possible to increase the overall mobility and functionality of the device by adding a wireless capability. A wireless connection to the internet is provided through the TED 802.11 radio. It is crucial that the data is put where it is needed like your EMR, CVIS, or PACS.
- Optional Connectivity options are tailored to your workflow including wireless PDF transfer to network folders. DICOM compatible platforms.
Optional Spirometery - The CP150 ECG lets you perform two reimbursable tests with one device. Perform FVC and pre-and post-BD testing with automatic interpretation and reversibility analysis
