Welch Allyn BUR280c ECG Interpretive 12-Lead Electrocardiograph
ELI 280 ECG machine. A state-of-the-art electrocardiograph with advanced features - the first of its kind
Portable Solution
With its compact size and lightweight design, the BUR280c electrocardiograph offers comprehensive features in a portable touchscreen device. ELI 280 is designed to meet the demands of high-volume ECG environments that require an easy-to-use tool.
High-Resolution Color Touchscreen LCD
10.1 inches of high-resolution color LCD with a convenient touchscreen display displays up to 12 leads of ECG data for viewing and plotting instantly.
Distinguished VERITAS Resting ECG Interpretation Algorithm
An interpretive algorithm which has been widely recognized uses gender specific, adult and pediatric criteria to provide a silent second opinion for the interpretation of resting ECGs. It displays hook-up confirmation information, including the detection of lead reversals.
Data Security
A Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is applied to securely protect electronic protected health information (ePHI) data, which allows users to authenticate and authorize. In addition, bi-directional encryption on the network protects sensitive ePHI in the form of ECGs, orders, and patient lists.
Choice of Wireless or Traditional ECG Acquisition
There is a choice of either the innovative WAM wireless acquisition module or the AM12 acquisition module for the ELI 280. Both of them come with replaceable lead wires, a lead failure indicator, and a remote control with buttons for recording ECGs and printing rhythms.
Best 10
In the ELI 280, signal and noise are analyzed to determine the best 10 seconds' worth of data and these select data are displayed automatically. In Best 10, ECG acquisition is simplified by reducing the clinical review time and avoiding the need to repeat ECGs.
Information Exchange
With the bidirectional communication capabilities provided by LAN or wireless LAN, Mortara customers can connect to their Pyramis, HeartCentrix, E-Scribe, and Athena products as well as third party EMR, PACS, and CVIS systems. ELI 280 can also communicate with Mortara's ECG Safe, a cloud-based service that provides easy, effective methods of storing ECGs for trouble-free viewing and file management wherever you are.
Optional WAM Module: Unique Wireless Acquisition Module that Benefits the Patient and adds Mobility for the Clinician
Convenient Patient Access
The WAM is comparable in size and weight to a conventional wired patient cable, which gives the clinician greater freedom of movement while acquiring ECGs or during cardiac stress tests.
Easy ECG Acquisition
The acquisition of ECGs can be initiated at the WAM, ELI 280 or cardiac stress testing. With just a simple push of a button, the WAM can perform ON/OFF, 12-lead ECG acquisition and rhythm printing at the bedside. There is both visual and audible feedback provided by the WAM.
Small Spaces Are No Obstacle
With the WAM, the ELI 280 does not have to be at the patient's bedside anymore. During critical situations or when the patient is in isolation, this can be especially advantageous. In the case of cardiac stress testing, the WAM eliminates the need for a tethered cable and improves both comfort and safety for the patient. As a result, it also reduces obstacles for medical personnel as they move about the stress lab.
Point-to-Point Connection
WAM is connected to a single ELI 280 machine or cardiac stress testing system by means of a dedicated and secure communication signal.
Diagnostic-Quality ECG
Wireless technology from Welch Allyn is capable of providing full diagnostic quality ECGs through a high definition acquisition rate of 40,000 samples per second, per channel. This increases the accuracy of pacemaker detection. Eliminating the cable also reduces artifacts which result in higher quality ECG tracings.
Efficient Power Management
Typically, the battery operated WAM will be able to capture 250 resting ECGs under normal use conditions. An advanced power management feature automatically shuts off the device.
