Documentation:

An eye and ear examination is one of the most basic examinations a primary care provider performs during the visit. Even though it may seem like a simple task, there is more room for error than you might think. The type of instruments you use can have a direct impact on the quality of the exam and the accuracy of the diagnosis. A person must be able to observe anatomical structures clearly in order to detect any variations that may exist. Diagnostic instruments of the K180 series are equipped with Xenon-Halogen Illumination (XHL) that is capable of producing white light in truer colors with exceptionally high color rendering valu

K180® XHL OTOSCOPES AND OPHTHALMOSCOPES

OTOSCOPE - K180
With the aid of 3x magnification, more detail can be seen about anatomical structures and foreign bodies can be more easily seen.
In addition to providing homogeneous, bright illumination, fiber optic illumination also provides unobstructed views of the ear canal and tympanum.
Designed to prevent accidental loss or breakage, the swiveling view window is permanently attached to the instrument head and can be easily swiveled for use of the instrument and cleaning.

K180 OPHTHALMOSCOPE

Its precision HEINE spherical optics and proprietary glare-mitigating coatings offer crisp, clear images of the fundus at all times.
A dust-resistant design protects the sensitive optical components and ensures maintenance-free operation.
There are 27 different diopter settings with lenses ranging from -35D to +40D that will provide precisely focused images in all examining situations.
You have a choice between five types of apertures: large spot, small spot, red-free, fixation star and grid, and slit.

BETA® XHL OTOSCOPES AND OPHTHALMOSCOPES

LED High Quality Illumination
An even distribution of light across the entire field of view (including the edges) ensures that images are high-contrast, distortion-free, and have no distracting reflexes, shadows, or hot-spots.
In addition to this, our instruments have extremely high CRI values, with a CRI of greater than 97, a special index for red colors (R9: >93), and a color temperature of 3,500K.
LEDs help reduce costs and maintenance in the long run, as they have a life expectancy of approximately 100,000 hours and do not require any bulb changes.
Superior Optics
A superior aspherical optic deflects corneal reflections away from the examiner's path of vision, allowing for a crisper, clearer view of the fundus for an enhanced diagnostic experience. Using this process, you no longer have to deal with filters or other systems that reduce resolution and compromise your ability to see important details.
HEINE technology delivers an exclusive 4.2x magnification for more detail of anatomical structures and easier identification of foreign bodies.
This lens offers a remarkable depth of field and a sharp spatial image in a convenient working range with a large field of view.
Dust-proof Design
Featuring a unique dust-proof design, precision optical components are protected against dust and ensure maintenance-free operation.
