Using the Hillrom (formerly Welch Allyn) MicroTymp 4 Portable Tympanometer, you will be able to determine middle ear conditions and improve diagnostic accuracy by providing objective measurements of tympanic membrane mobility and the condition of the middle ear.

The following features are available:

• Testing of the tympanometry and ipsilateral acoustic reflexes, including recordings of both
• In as little as three seconds, it tests each ear, making it ideal for pediatric use
• The device automatically begins recording a tympanogram as soon as the ear canal seal has been achieved with MicroTymp 4.
• It has a four-button navigation system that provides easy navigation through a quick and thorough examination of the left, right, or both ears
• A patient should be tested if they are six months of age or older
